A fundamental principle of the choir's philosophy is its recognition of the important part that the arts can play in bringing together people of different nations.  The choir has sung in Estonia, France, Germany, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Poland and Russia, in some cases several times.  These tours have been reciprocated by visits from musicians from these countries, the most recent being choirs from Italy and Poland, the Celle String Orchestra for a performance of Bach's Mass in B minor, the Zutphen Barok Orchestra (Holland) for Purcell, Blow and others and L'Ensemble Vocal de Terrasson.
